Memory-makers travel with their values on their sleeves, and they want more when they plan their trips – more insights, more transparency and to know what it will really be like when they get here. Many travelers spend weeks, even months researching a destination before they book their vacation and most of that research is done online. So, we’re helping travelers make their research – and the decision to book – even simpler by offering new features you can highlight in your TravelWisconsin.com business listing.
The features are available for all place listings and will appear on the right of the details tab as you add or edit a listing. Please update your current listings as applicable and apply these attributes to any relevant future listings.
Disabilities affect 1 in 4 Americans with many different factors at play that impact whether travel parties can travel comfortably. We’ve identified 20 different accessible descriptions to help travelers more accurately understand how your accessible features will meet their travel parties’ unique needs. The current listing feature, Disabled Access, will be removed and the new accessible descriptions will be visible on the TravelWisconsin.com consumer website on January 23 so be sure to update your listing if you’ve used this listing feature in the past.

You can now select from our new attribute group, Diverse-owned Business, to provide another layer of detail for your place listings on TravelWisconsin.com.
To select any of the new diverse-owned business attributes, the business must be at least 51% owned, controlled and actively managed by one of the following groups:
- Owned by people with disabilities
- Native American-owned
- Asian American/Pacific Islander-owned (includes Asian Indian, Asian Pacific or Native Hawaiian)
Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Stations
EV registrations are up 60% in 2022, according to Car and Driver, and travelers with electric vehicles are looking for more options to charge their car and go on longer road trips – which means spending more time and money in your destination. You can now highlight if your location has EV charging stations.
